Just watched the first episode of a pretty cool show I think most HOGS will like. :)

The action takes place mostly in/around Montana, Wyoming, Dakotas Badlands where a lot of T. Rex, Triceratops, et. al big dino fossils are regularly found.

Anyways it's worth a look not only because of the subject matter of dinosaur fossils, but there's an added incentive to watch to spot/identify knives! :D

It seems the probe/excavator of choice for fine work of these Dino Hunters are fixed blades!

And to top it off, they seem to rotate their EDC loadouts pretty regular each expedition!

Tonight's episode I spotted what I believe was a Mora, a Buck, and what looked like a HACK >>> hard to tell because it was just a flash.

Check it out...not a bad way to burn an hour, imho. ;)

It also seems like they are on the edge of financial calamity and need bones to put food on the table :(

hope they find a rare one soon!

Oh lord, my son is into everything dinosaurs. We have watched the 6-episode "Planet Dinosaur" mini-series with him at least 50 times. Not exaggerating. He's a crazy (2 and 1/2 year old) man. Going to have to see if this is available on Netflix or one of the other streaming services since we don't have cable.

I grew up loving all things big reptile....as an adult the ONLY recurring bad dream that I have is that T-Rex from the first Jurassic Park chasing me around an abandoned multi-story parking station !!!! I look at the croc skull on my shelf and can't help but think how bad those big honking teeth would hurt !!!

"Dino hunters".. not calling you old, but I thought for a second someone was chasing you! :)

Crazy were they are finding some of these things.

Some pretty cool stuff. Of course to me some of it just looks like plain old rocks until they explain what it actually is.
