I was just looking through some of my dead (god rest his sole) uncles police gear, and I came across some magazine holsters that are pretty small. Doesn't say, but they must be from a .32cal or a .380 pistol. They are made by Don hume, which is pretty great leather gear from my experience. Bout 3 inches long by an inch and a 1/4 wide. Anyways, I got to thinking what I could use em for and the knife idea popped into my head. I was able to streach the leather first to fit my mini socom. if fits great. Tight but pullable without dislodging the clip. My afck didn't want to fit, but I streached to leather more trying.
I perfer to use the clip, but I know some don't, and like the holster pull idea. But the best thing this is good for seems to be butterfly knives. Especialy as alot of em dont offer a clip. I have a crappy butterfly knife I play with and it fits in great. You're able to streach the leather to where you like it. It would be perfect for someone who wanted to carry a bf knife clipped on thier belt, or inside the waste ban even. I've been able to pull it out consistantly without any problems. If you carry a bf knife this may be the way to go. (Might want to go check you state and local laws first.) Might be worth looking into. And could easily work for other knives. I'd just be sure to get a clip holster with a strong clip.
