1. Bladite, thank you for the contest.
1. I noticed several people have scale-less BK10s. I'm curios why. Please post your reasons. Mine is that I bought cocobolo scales from marathonman that are what I want to put on my BK10 but the section where the hardware holes were drilled is starting to break through and I need to fix that. I need some grivory to put on there in the meantime but I keep giving them away bah.
2. I noticed a lot of people have rust in the BK10 stamp, which is something I had a problem with. I had to put vinegar (balsamic, if you're nasty) in there to fix it.

The Bk10 is a cool knife, no matter what Oregon says :) I have photos somewhere from a random overnighter I did where my BK10 was my only protection I'm so stoked I got in on the special dieal.

Mine is on its way(on fri) when does this contest end? I hope I have time:confused:

I believe it ends when they are all gone. If I buy all the 19 or so left do I win by default?

Well that's only $2800 give or take, so maybe the cheapest way to get a bk5. Hold on bear with me, if you buy the remaining ones and win the bk5 is free. Then when you corner the market and sell them at a small profit even better ;) I say go for it :)

well, you'll probably win the "has the most BK10s :>

don't forget kids, the rules are picky. see what they others did. spelling counts. you have to have a visible date and time ;)

i'm tempted to close it now, but in 6 hours, KaBar should be open and i can find out. i'd guess... 15-18 left?

keeping you on your toes, and that's my last statement on that...

Modified my post to in the contest to reflect the TIME as well as the date.

May hafta redo mine, not sure the time is more visible. I swear my Jeep is never this clean.

Mine has no handles cause I just got done modding it some and need to make or have someone else make me some custom handles.

The bird is funny, given the subtlety. I can see the date/ time ok on my screen.

This was a good one. I like contests that force creativity and new photos.

I'm gonna guess this ends today. Get those pics fast!

Glad I got mine months ago.

Got me second BK10 just in the nick of time!!

Gave the first one to my brother in law!

My BK-10 should arrive today. Was hoping for yesterday but no joy. Now all I need to do is get a photo, start three threads (to bring me up to five) and get Moose to assign me a BH number before the comp closes. Hmmmmmmm.........

You know, it's funny but this little contest and all the excitement about the last few 10's left really drive home how great the BK-10 LE really is. I'm proud to own one and look forward to many years of use out of it. Knowing that it's a rare bird and a classic knife just makes it that much sweeter.
