Well, my Chrysler Concorde gave up the transmission ghost, for the second time, Thursday night. Went out just as I turned onto the snow packed road about three miles from home. The ride home was a story in and of itself. Anyway, now, I am looking for a carburetor for an 85 Toyota pickup to get me through the next couple months while I look for a later model Silverado. Are there any discussion forums out there for Toyota pickups or Chevrolet/GMC pickups? I'm looking for basic information about which carburetors are best for an old pickup, and what problems I might face with a used Silverado.
