I order a 710 online Sunday and bought a 940 in the store today, whats wrong with me? I plan on edcing both and mainly using the 710 as it has a D2 blade duh.

I'll probably keep my M16-13T with me as I like it.

Quad wield BM in either hand 710 in right 940 in left M16-13T on a wrist strap push dagger mounting and BM 156 in teeth.

You obviously need more knives, that's all.

That's a solid piece of advice right there

Buy a bunch of new knives, put yourself in financial ruin, and you're set. By that point, knives are no longer an obsession/disease but a hobby ;)

That's so funny -- I was agonizing over which knife to buy between exactly those two, the 940 and the 710. Unlike you I made a choice and ordered the 940 last week. I think you've inspired me though I should just order the 710 as well, and be done with it.

Try to make your purchases a little structured, try not to lose too much money on your purchases that you resell (with a gold or plat membership of course), and when you get into the high end customs, don't blame us ;).

longbeachguy, funny you should say that, actually I had no intention on buying the 940 until I was in plazacutlery with my grandma (step) and she wanted to get me a present. So we split the cost. I am quite fond of the 940 and can't wait till my 710 arrives on friday, I think together they will be excellent, the 940 seems to be a most excellent slicer, while the 710 would be a better penetrating blade. Rant over. The way I go this is a phase and soon enough I will find yet another hobby.

I know just what you mean. At least you'll still be able to use your knives, even if your main interests are elsewhere. I used to be much more into lights than knives, and even though knives take precedent know, I still edc a light. (L1D-CE, not one of them "photon" excuses for a light :p) If you stop collecting stamps, they pretty much lose all usefulness.

Well RC cars-computers-lights-knives. I don't know where I am headed next but who does?
