Hi, I am new to the forum and not sure if this is the right section.

I am planning a project to create a set of place settings (knife, spoon, fork) as a gift. The plan is to use a kit from one of the online suppliers. The kit comes with dymondwood handles. Is this material normally dishwasher safe? If not, is there a process that can be performed to make it so.

Dymondwood is basically "Stabilized" stained birchwood it wouldn't be my first choice for dishwasher safe. Micarta or G10 and stainless Corby bolts would be a better choice I think. I could be wrong about how dishwasher safe Dymondwood is.
Good luck:thumbup:
