Diskin Hunter

I've been waiting for this and it looks like at least one of the big online knife retailers with real accurate stock status is reporting the new Diskin Hunter is now in stock. I don't believe they have been out yet anywhere except the prototype but maybe it just hasn't received the attention the folders have. Does anyone have photos of what the sheath looks like or any details? Same black leather as the other fixed blades but sized to fit?

Yes it does, and they are nice. I don't have them but a co-worker just got two of them as gifts for his cousins.

Curious if the folders are still gonna be made? Haven't seen much on them lately.

IIRC the idea was scrapped.

Yeah, neither would I. He didn't like that it wasn't BK-2 thick and that it didn't look like the picture, which are legit beefs but not things I give a flying fudge about personally. I like the looks of this knife but I'd have to look into getting a different sheath for it, which would up the price quite a bit.

i am not saying it is a bad knife. how could i?! in fact i prefer slimmer knives because of the enhanced cutting abilities. what i don't like is when people advertise a particular designed knife but the actual one looks quite different. i really loved the original design. i don't get it why they changed it so drastically...
