Dislike the 'clip blade' on my Case Stockman, looking to replace.

So I have one of the new buffalo horn medium case stockmans... the knife is beautiful.

As discussed in an earlier thread its miss-marked and a factory error, that's doesn't mean a lot to me really. I am not a collector at all, I use all my knives.

I have carried the knife for about 2 weeks, only used it a couple times but I really dislike the style of the main blade.

I think that if the clip blade was a secondary blade it wouldn't be as distracting to me. I don't mind the larger clip blade on my Case Barlow, but the smaller one on the medium stockman drives me up the wall for some reason.

So all in all I'm looking for a knife of about the same size, high quality and made in the USA.

Im looking for opinions to replace it, Ill prob just ebay the old one.

Here are the knives Im looking at and Id like opinions on them:

Case Congress
Case Sowbelly (These seem pretty large to me in the hand)
Case Swayback Jack
Case Humpback

The other knife I carry is a Case Pearl handled Barlow that I love... so I am also considering another Barlow. Maybe a TC or GEC since they have the different blade shapes.

I also really like the Case Coffin Jack... but the price point is a bit extreme to me.

Any thoughts are welcome, I guess Im just kinda rambling... but opinions from you traditional guys would be helpful.

Thank You For Your Time.

Wasn't a big fan of that slim blade, until i played around carving a pipe, and some peach pits. Then it showed me what it can do.

The swayback jack is highly regarded around here, must be for good reason.

Been looking at knives all morning...

Im really leaning towards either:

a GEC Tidioute easy open scout barlow with a sheepsfoot? blade I think.

or

a GEC Tidioute Huckleberry Boys Knife and a spear point blade.

The main difference is the main blade, both are two bladed knives.

My first impression is I may get more use out of the spear point...

giving you a recommendation is hard, because I don't understand your criteria, what exactly bugs you about the main blade of the stockman? What do you use your blades for?
of the models you suggested, I had the SBJ, and it deserves all the praise it gets around here, perfect f&f. I find spear or clip points more versatile, I need the belly, but most of my cutting is really minor stuff - food, packages. I am also kind of keen on trying a main blade sheepsfoot like the boy's knife, (probably just peer pressure from this forum :)).

The CASE Humpback Stockman is a worthwhile pattern that deserves more attention.

Spear master, a real scalpel like Spey.... with a neat cut-out for accessing it, sunk-joints. This could be one answer.

GEC Eureka Jack, Spear master and Coping minor, an interesting combination.
