That is a great looking display. Reminds me of the old hardware stores. Good job filling it.

Nice Display delmas, hope to see more from you now.
Collecting small items like knives can be fun. However, most times we collect them and store them away in boxes.
When we store them in Displays, we can look at them every day and enjoy them many times a day. Ken

all the rest of my collection are residing on my pool table. have taken photos of them from the UH's to the LB 7's which are my favorite pattern.

Look at the evolution of the shop sign logo in the catalogs on COSRUS. When did they first use the "ESTABLISHED 1904" and "WORLD'S FINEST KNIVES" text in conjunction with the shop sign?

looks like there were several changes to the logo in the catalogs, from '61 to '68 just the hanging scroll and no date, from '69 to '72 date at top and "World's Finest Knives" at bottom, '73 to '78 on the date 1904 at the bottom where it had been at the top, '79 to '81 date at top and "Made in USA" added at bottom then in '82 to '86 hanging scroll gone and replaced by "Made in USA" in an oval. after that just Scharde logo. the logo scroll on the display matches none of these so i am still confused but wiser.

" '69 to '72 date at top and "World's Finest Knives" at bottom". There is a clue.

Noticed that the price stickers had Lewis on them. Seems like Lewis could be Lewis Hardware Store. I also like the prices the knives were at that time.

Those can be compared to price list MSRP to approximate the date. We have Lewis Lumber Companys here
