My first Khukuri arrived yesterday and I was absolutely pleased. I now understand why you guys said that it should be used and not just displayed. However, I still would like to display it, and future ones, on a stand. What do you guys do with all the knives in your collection? If someone can help with getting stands, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks Bill for the quick delivery. It arrived days before I expected it. I showed it to some friends who had never seen one before and I'm hearing grumblings of "I've got to have one of these". The first thing one guy did was take it outside and split a huge hunk of fire wood. Said it worked as good as his axe.

Thanks again and I'm now totally lost as to which one to get next!

Bob--

I just got my first as well and my friends said the same thing. My favorite display method is wall hanging. The crossed khukri looks really cool, but you need two of them (I sense, though, in the future you'll have enough to put crossed khukris in every room of the house) Hanging a single one would also be nice, especially if it was along with another piece.. like some nepalese artwork.

I'm going to mount mine over my toilet to create a sort of imposing throneroom feel about the place :p

Be very careful when mounting over the toilet -- should the thing ever fall you might be in a very serious predicament.

You might want to email Sandi and see what sort of khukuri stands she has available.
