Could you possibly help me post pics on a thread? We have a platinum mbrshp, trying to post in knifemaker gallery, my pics are too big? do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong? Thanks, Kristy

There are two ways to go about it. One is to upload them to Bladeforums.com's server. The other is to upload to another server and link to it.

If your pictures are too big and you want to upload here, you'll have to use an image editor to crop, resize, or compress them. You can use Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, the GIMP, Paint Shop Pro, or any number of others.

Then when posting a new message, you click the "Manage Attachments" button towards the bottom, then click "Browse" in the new window that opened. Navigate to your image, click on it and click "Open". Then click "Upload". Then you can post your message and people will see it as a clickable thumbnail.

The other option is to upload to an external host like xs.to or Photobucket.com or whatever your ISP gives you for web space. Once you have uploaded the image, you can copy the URL to the clipboard and paste it between IMG tags in your message.

You would click the image button:

and paste the URL.
