Yesterday I lost my edc MT Mini SOCOM MA (Purple), with black lanyard. I have been carrying this knife and using it for a long time. I feel crushed.

How do you guys feel when you loose something that you have relied upon for so long?

And, what should I replace it with. I am thinking a new Mini Socom Elite frame lock. What do you think? I liked that knife because it was purple :)

If anyone knows of availbility of the purple one I lost, let me know, I would like to get one in purple again..
 
Tough break, Lundo. I've been slowly but steadily reducing my knife collection. I only have a few left that I don't use at least semi-regularly, and soon I will only have knives that are as close to perfect for my needs as I can get, and each one will have a specific role to fill when it comes to cutting things up. Of course, once that happens, it's REALLY going to hurt if I actually lose any of them. Haven't lost one yet, though.
 
I hate when I lose things. It is so unlike me. Plus, in the environment that I think I lost it in, at my job, it wouldn't be pretty to go to security and ask if lost and found had found a knive!! Not allowed. So, I have to keep my mouth shut, and it is difficult, because I know I probably lost it at work.

that is the best of all worlds. the question is now, how did you loose it and how do you not loose it again?

I inadvertently left it on the table in the living room, open, after opening mail. I hate opening mail, and only end up doing it after it stacks up for a while. So, all I can figure is I just wanted to get away from that chore, and forgot the knife I was using.

Glad to have it back though...
