It isn't the most versatile dive knife I have mostly due to the handle/blade relationship. There really is only one way to hold it effectively and comfortably, but when you do have it that way it is excellent for cutting away from you and I can't agree with tiburon more that it is very, very useful to have the use of your hand while you have the knife in it. This alone makes it my current using dive knife. Apart from that it is very thin, very light, very low in bulk, very sharp and fantastic for corrosion resistance. The sheath is kind of flimsy looking compared to most dive knifes and very simplistic. It isn't as satisfying as most of their locking mechanisms are to work, but it works and sand isn't going to sieze it up like I have had others do. Once it is in it seems to stay put, but maybe not quite as secure as some.
You wouldn't want to be doing any heavy prying with it, I can't reach mine just now as there is too much junk in between me and my dive box, but I would say it is about 2mm, maybe just a little more, at the thickest and hollow ground in both direction from the centre line and the handle being canted quite a lot from the blade doesn't help either.
And I really don't like the nylon webbing straps that came with it, there doesn't seem to be any secure way to lash it with them, especially if your suit starts compressing as you go down, and I haven't yet found thin enough rubber replacements. And while I am complaining, the handle sort of unbalances it as the tie down points are close together and the handle a long way away which gives it a bit of a precarious feel. I am sure it is actually fine, it just worries me when I clip it on.
For all my complaints though, mostly about the sheath, for a knife that you might actually have to use to cut with in a serious situation though, this one is my pick and my regular and not for lack of available options. It is also just that bit unusual, which I like.
