I didn’t see a thread for just dive watches. Even if you don’t dive. A dive watch is perfect for any outdoorsman or explorer. They give the message that you are ready for adventure.

These are the two that I currently have. The Citizens eco drive is awesome in every way, I really like the 4 o’clock crown.

The Casio is awesome in its own right, especially its price. A real bargain for a rugged watch.

Let’s see yours!

Edit to add: Another reason I like dive watches the longer band fits my thick wrist!

Here's my only other dive watch. Islander Ameriquartz model ISL-100. Amazingly accurate with a 1-jewel USA movement, ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, and a solid link bracelet. Accuracy specs are +/- 20 seconds per month but mine has lost 1 second in the 18 days that I've owned it. Glad I pulled the trigger on this one.

Yep love the dive watches myself and thanks for the pics. Don't have a pic at the moment but 3 years back purchased the Seiko SRPA-83. Bit large but that blue dial and shiny bezel blew me away.

what's the name of this one and why are only some of r he numbers red?
It’s an Isobrite (it’s illumination is from tridium tubes, seen outboard of the numbers.
The red is a 15 min. timer, and can be moved as the bezel can be rotated.
sidebar: most bezels will only rotate counterclockwise so if accidentally moved, your time will be lessened rather than increased.
“In the beginning”.. dive watches timed your time on the bottom, air supply, time to decompress on deeper dives etc.
dive computers do the heavy lifting today.

Here is my latest group shot. Through college I wore normal cheap dress watches, then I decided that a dive watch would be better for me because it would be waterproof if I was working in the yard, washing the car, things like that. From then on I've pretty much only worn dive watches although when I started being a small time collector I have occasionally had a field watch or a flieger.
I've been looking at watches other than dive watches because I don't use the dive bezel so without it I could have a watch with larger hands and dial and hopefully that would be more legible.
I like watches with steel bracelets, in particular oyster style bracelets, but somehow I ended up with a lot of NATO and ZULU straps. I've tried leather straps and they aren't comfortable for me. There is one watch in the photo with a rubber strap but it isn't as comfortable as a NATO or ZULU.

Very nice collection. If I may, what is the make and model of the second watch from the left on the top row? I can't quite make it out but I like it.

I'm also interested in the third row from the left model

those all look nice and I agree with nato straps being comfier.
