Divets on new Griptilian handle?

Completely normal for molded objects. You can try to hide them, sand them, or make them part of a design, but if your part comes from a mold, it will have sprue marks.

I have the same spots in the same place on my old Griptilian handles. Normal. Though mine are nowhere near as deep and obvious as those. That area of the heel of the handle on mine looks to be more smoothed than yours. I did mention it is an older knife, so maybe better QC 8 years ago when I bought it.

It’s normal for the grip, some are more prominent than others though. You can sand them down a bit with a fine sanding block if it bothers you.

I have a griptilian. I plan on replacing the handle scales with some AWT anodized grips. If these divots bug you like they do me (among other things) I suggest the AWT scales.

I considered the AWT, and am kinda going back and forth. They just seem a little plain and blocky for $85. They seem like a good company, and I really want to support them, I think I just like the Aramis scales better.

Check out Ryan at Death of all things. I think he is Death Scales now. Awesome scales!
