I have a divers knife that I recently bought from a pawn shop. It was made in Japan and possibly has aus6a steel, but I can't be sure. It takes a keen edge that last a good while. The only markings on the blade are Farallon, which is a company that makes diving equipment, but has not made knives since 1976 when they were bought out by Oceanic. I cannot find anything on the net about this knife. It has a bowie type blade with serrations on the top belveled on one edge flat ground on the other. Weird design , but works well with the knife.

Sounds like one I have in my collection Does it have a stainless guard and a rubber handle that slips over the tang and is removeable? Resembles a Blackjack Archangel somewhat? Mine can be described as a knock off of the Timberline Argonaut from the same time period. It's a good design that deserves better steel.

Sounds just like it. I wish some one had more input like mabey what it's worth? Mabey someone can tell us something more. Does your knife hold a good edge? Have you used it much? :D
