I ended up taking the byrd rescue diving to clear about 50 feet of rope from my propeller. It was wrapped up in a ball and jammed against the rudder. The boat kept stalling and the steering was difficult. I could only steam at 1.5 knots and was worried about damaging the transmission so we tied off to one of our buoys, shut down and I went in the water. I took the byrd over one of the deck knives because i knew it was sharp, the serrations make short work of rope, and I don't have to worry about dinging the propeller or the shaft with the point of the knife. It was pretty rusty afterwards but it did fast work and was easy to use under water...Sorry Sal I know I was supposed to send it back to you months ago but when i really needed it I was happy that I didn't
