Here ya go guys.

I got a hair up my butt last night or something.

Once I started on this I could not stop. I was up till 5 am.

I trashed the living room floor, kydex bits all over the place. Tools everywhere.

Its finished and I am very pleased with the results.

In the Arfcom Blade Forum!

Finished product.

This is cool! Now I have some small brass grommets with a setter tool. The grommets have a male side and a female ring, and you hammer them together.
Would that work for the eyelets? And I have an old pop rivet tool, but these look better.

Can you tell me where you got your rivets and eyelets and what kind they are?

Great instructional post.

Thanks much,

Norm

Svashtar,

I got my hardware from the local tandy leather. Grommets will work but they add bulk. They would eliminate the need for more than a couple rivets, they are stronger than eyelets.

The eyelets i used on the tan sheath are the small 3/16 size. i would use 1/4 next time.

I wanted to use copper rivets for saddlery work, but they are not cheap.

you can get real good stuff from texas knife kits. Get your eyelets there.
