Hi everybody,
Spring time, here there is Djinn, Spring’s Spirit.
Steel is AISI A2, hardness over 60 HRC, hand finished. I used wheat stones for finish primary and secondary bevel. Mirror part and back are finished with sand papers.
Handle and sheath are in rosewood and maple, guard and sheath opening are in black ox.
Enjoy the pictures.

refreshingly different :)

^^^ Very much so! That's some beautiful craftsmanship and material choices right there. I really like the handle shape, it's unique and goes together very nicely with the blade. :)

The assembly reminds me of traditional Japanese knives. :)

So does the maple pin come in and out of the handle pretty easily for the "take-down", and is it very snug in the tang hole? It might just be the pictures but the hole in the tang looks a bit larger than the size of the pin. Just curious. ;)

Thanks for appreciate Paul,
As you can see pin is made in brass, is not a cylinder but a conical shape. Hole through the handle is conical too at the same degrees, even the tang's hole have a conical profile. The conical couple pin / hole is strong enough to fix the pin securely, you'll need a tool to unlock the pin from his position.
My English sucks, I hope to make my point with my explication...
