DLC cleaning

Anyone have any tips for removing those silver aluminum transfer lines you get on a black DLC blade. I left a limited edition benchmade 890 on my dresser and wife used it to add a key to a key ring. Now I have silver lines on a knife I intended to keep pristine.

i use flitz to get the metal marks off. you can use any metal polish, and toothpaste if you have none

I have very good luck using Bar Keeper's Friend brand cleanser on my DLC. Looks brand new afterward.
