DLC coating on Leno

Watching a new YT video today from Jay Leno and he was restoring a '68 Firebird Sprint. He said one of the weaknesses of that engine was poor quality rocker arms in the engine so they manufactured new ones out of tool steel and had them DLTC coated. That must be some tough stuff!

The DL does stand for 'Diamond Like".
