Just ordered a Tanto Groove and was wondering if it is a limited production run and if you think it will make a good EDC? Hope i made a good choice.

I don't believe it's a limited production and yes it would make an excellent EDC.
I carry the Tanto and or the standard Groove at least 2 or 3 times a week.
It's little brother the Zing is now getting some pocket time as well.
You'll really notice when you're cutting something thick and there isn't the drag that is felt on full blades.
The striations add much to the knife in different ways.

Congrats on the pickup.

I don't think it was a limited edition or anything. I also don't own a tanto (I personally don't care for them.), but I did EDC a regular Groove for about six months. It was just recently knocked out of my pocket by a RAM. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the knife. I think you made a great choice.

Mine was an EDC for over 8 months. Flips faster than some of my A/O Kershaws if you polish the contact areas. The nightmare grind really helps cutting leather strips/various rope.

I have both, the regular and Tanto; which one I carry depends more on what kind of point I will want.

Earlier this evening I used my regular Groove to push cut some thick-walled nylon tubing for my son's engineering project. He couldn't get through it with the serrated blade of his SAK Spirit, so I stepped in. The "grooves" in the "Groove" really made a difference (I tried first with his SAK). As it turned out, the Tanto, with its more extreme point, would have been the better choice for other tasks, but either is an excellent carry.

It is a great EDC. Very smooth action and the ergo's are great.

It's not limited, but some how my black Tanto Groove lost it's Tanto.....
