DLC On a Blade question

What is the best thing to do/use to clean smudges off dlc on a blade. I’ve tried the bm blue cleaner and the edci formula but both leave smudges. It is a s30v shaman. Any advise is appreciated.

If it is a user, I'd recommend getting used to fingerprint smears.

Otherwise, WD40 and a sponge works well for me. I've seen a recommendation to use LPS TKX spray, but have not tried it; WD40 works fine.

I clean the blade with Alcohol and then apply food grade mineral oil to the finish. Buff a little afterwards usually leaves the DLC like new!
