DLC Skyline?

I was on the bay and I saw a Skyline with a DLC blade and black g10 scales. I know people normally swap blades to make them, but this one only says "1760CKT MADE IS USA" on the lock side. The only DLC bladed Skyline I know of is the 1760BRNCKT, and they say "1760BRNCKT Patented MADE IN USA" on the blade. The guys says it is discontinued. Is it real or a fake? It looks real to me but the number and the fact it doesn't say "Patented" on the blade makes me think its fake. Do a search on the bay for "Kershaw Skyline" and you'll find it

that is odd that they have a silver clip on it. too bad Dave doesn't have it...i always feel bad when I don't give him my money!

Thanks to the OP for the reminder. I drove over to the seller's brick & mortar store to see and purchase one of these just now. Apparently they received a total of 160 in their shipment. They're not sure about the background story behind this production model either. Glad I got it though, nice little addition to my Kershaw collection.
