What are users thinking about the DLT fullered spearpoint Hinderer XM-18? I read that some users are very happy with how "thin" the swedged spear is behind the edge and its usefulness for EDC purposes. Any feedback on the grind, or the blade shape in general, of the fullered spear and how that seems to be working for folks?

I have both the DLT fullered and swedge spear point 3.5" XM-18s. The swedged blade is ~ .020" thinner at each given place as you move back from the point compared to the fullered blade. That being said the spear point does everything I ask it to from cutting up boxes and heavy rope to small kitchen jobs. For me the thinner blade handles all the usual jobs which is no where near the potential of the knife. The spear point and Bowie are my two favorite XM blades. When I want more blade as I head to the fire wood pile I take a spear point full track.
