I very recently received this knife ,purchased right here in the "Makers For Sale" area,in BladeForums. The Spektor,by David Mosier,DMKnives. It is 3-3/4" closed, with a 3" blade,of CPM 154,really nicely hollow ground, and a gorgeous satin finish. The satin finish is gorgeous,oh,I said that already.Anyone who has or has had a knife from David, knows about his grinds. The sculpted G-10 is a first for me,I was sceptical at first, after feeling it,it is awesome. It is very comfortable, and not a sharp edge on this whole knife(Except for the cutting Edge of course),but it provides a great grip, especially combined with a real nice overall thickness of just under 5/16" on the handle, and looks real cool, too. How did you do that David?.The lock up is rock solid, and it opens and closes, wioth a silky smooth glass like action, and a perfect detent.Stout .09" ti liners, the lock bar is "sculpted",just perfect.A custom ti pocket clip, tip down,a very safe way for your pocket clip.
The overall fit and finish of this knife,is perfect, and IMHO,DMKnives,is among one of the very best values , in tactical knives.I think this size knife,is a great addition to his lineup, and I am very pleased to have this one.
