With the newer update from a year or so ago, did it change our message amounts?
I don't see the scale of available messages left, how many I can use?

The new upgrade was about when I got a Maker's membership, so Idk if that matters?

Yesterday a person with a long standing conversation, suddenly asked me to replay via email.
He said he was worried about running out of messages.
I didn't think that was a Thing, anymore?

The email he gave me seemed kinda weird, since it was a name, but nothing like his.
I have his personal address, do I write him a letter?

How can we check if emails are legit?
Thanks.

When I no longer need a DM conversation I hit the "leave" button. Gone. I can't imagine requiring massive lists of conversations saved forever.

We had Lots of design information. He might want saved for reference?
I know I wish I had saved ALL my previous conversations

Private messaging: 200 conversations, 500 total messages

I don't know if the limits changed. But the new software organizes DMs into conversations, so it may seem like more.

I don't know how to count individual messages. But you can count conversations by looking at the number of pages in your inbox. There are 20 conversations per page.

The old software had an option to download Private Conversations. The new software does not. But it is possible to use a mouse to copy a conversation then paste it into a Word document. So if is important to save information from a conversation, you can do that. And I would use a PC for that, not a phone.

So as far as we all know, there still are limits....
That's what I wanted to hear...

So it's just not going to work some day?
I haven't heard anyone talking about it lately, so I was thinking the limits went away.

Thanks

You have the answer of how to confirm his email right there. If you have his personal address, reply to the email and say "reply with you your address in the next email so I know it's you".

I was thinking if his DM's were hacked, he'd have all that info too...

So you can't trust any online method of communication then. Send him a letter.
