Dmaskus Question

I posted this in the general forum but it should probably be here.For any of you damaskus knife owners,do you use them?I have been thinking of getting a damaskus fixed blade but I don't want a safe queen.If damaskus gets scratched up can it be refurbished?If you have before and after pics that would be great.

Here is a San Mai damascus piece. Center core of O1 and the San Mai is a mixture of O1 and Nickel. This knife is used for many tasks including at the dinner table and performs well. Very easy to resharpen also.
