First off I want to talk about how I got this Knife. I am with 1/32 INF BN, 10th MTN DIV in Iraq. Our CSM asked Knife Makers to donate knives to our BN so they could be given out to Leaders, Lower Enlisted and Staff during a ceremony to recognize outstanding performance. The Knife I received was the Dissuader from DMKnives. I want to Thank David Mosier for this outstanding Knife. Mr. Mosier understands what a soldier needs for a tactical carry knife.

Blade Specs: 3.5" long, 3/16" thick, Double Hollow ground Tanto with false edge, Serrated thumb Ramp, Dual thumb studs, ATS-34 Bar stock.

Handle: Black and green G-10 Scales, 0.100" Stainless steel liners, Stainless pocket clip. Over length is 8.5" open.

The Dissuader is a heavy tactical folder, built for a life time of hard use. The cutting edge is razor sharp.Cutting with this knife is a breeze, from cardboard to wood. I thought at first that the blade was to thick for normal cutting task but the double hollow grind makes for a great cutting blade.

Lock up of the liner lock is outstanding, everything is smooth and solid with zero play open or closed. this knife is very comfortable to use because of the G-10 scales an the outstanding design of the handle. The workmanship on this knife is amazing; this is truly a custom knife. the Dissuader is perfect for Military and Law Enforcement, because it has the heft and strength to replace a fixed blade knife, yet can be carried with you at all times. the Tanto blade makes it a great self defense weapon, especially for military and law enforcement in confined places such as a vehicle or room.

This knife is now my full time duty knife, that means it will go with me where ever the Army takes me. I always pick the best equipment I can and this is the strongest tactical folder I have ever seen.

I like the workmanship and strength of this knife so much that I will soon purchase one of Mr. Mosier's other great Tactical Folders. Thank you Mr. Mosier for a great Knife! and may God Bless You!
