DMT 8 Medium extra fine stone

Does anyone have any experience with the DMT 8" medium extra fine Dia Sharp stone?
It is listed as a 6 micron, (4000 mesh) The grit falls between the extra fine and the extra extra fine

It's a limited run stone from DMT, get one while you can.

I have always thought that the "gap" between the extra fine and extra/extra fine was too much.
