simple question, the angles listed in the little operation manual...are those angles the total angle or angle of one side?

What are the angles available in the Aligner? I have checked several websites but they don't list that information.

It depends on the width (spine to edge) of the blade. The longer the blade, the more acute the angle can get at the sharpest setting.

I ordered DMT Aligner also, should be here in few days

I need to sharpen 5.11 Cub Master Tarani - Folding Kerambit

problem, it is curved blade plus S30V steel and blade is not so wide.

Any advice on how to sharpen this knife will be highly appreciated

DMT makes a curved hone for the aligner but I'm not going to say it works well. The curve is too much making the point of contact very small, it makes it hard to get the tip without rounding it and it won't get to the back of the blade either. The only thing that has worked well for me is freehand with the sharpmaker rods.
