I am trying to decide on a stone to compliment my 4000 grit King Ice Bear. If I get a waterstone I was thinking about 1000 grit Bester, Shapton, or Naniwa.
I also was thinking that if I buy a DMT Diasharp, then I can use it also to flatten my 4000 grit waterstone.
So would the Diasharp Coarse be able to flatten my 4000 grit king?
Would jumping from the Diasharp Coarse to 4000 grit king be too much of a jumg?
How about a DMT fine diasharp instead to flatten my 4000 grit king and also to be used as my coarser stone?
