Has anyone had experience with this DMT product? Lapping my Edge Pro stones with the lapping kit doesn't seem to do it anymore. I'm thinking of just biting the bullet and getting this, thoughts? Could anyone recommend another lapping stone?

There is a new Suehiro lapping stone a CKTG, double sided and much less of a hit to the pocketbook. I use a Atoma 140 currently (used a XXC DMT previously) but large lapping stones often do a better job.
 
Thanks Jason, I'll take your word for it and order one right away! It's good to see another Michigander that's into knives, are you near Ann Arbor?
 
Not too far, I'm just south of detroit.

The Suehiro is in stock btw unless you are set on diamond.
