DMT Diamond stones

Just got the Duo Sharp Plus kit(8-inch stones) this morning. How did I live without these things? I've been using ceramic rods since my waterstones were misplaced in a move some time ago. These things are great. Even though they are not 'broken in' yet, I was able to get a much neglected BM AFCK back to shaving sharp in less than ten minutes (including taking the stones out of the box). I haven't sharpened free hand since my beloved waterstones went missing, so it got to be the stones.:thumbup:

I've been looking at ggetting some of diamond stones. Is there any difference in useing them than with typical water ro arkansas stones?
