DMT Diasharp 10" vs 11.5"

The 11.5" stones are 2.5" wide. It does not say and the photos make it hard to tell, but the 10" stone may be wider.

Ah, I didn't see any thickness/width specs on the 10" models. Thanks.

I have a 4X8" stone and the 2.5X11.5" they both work real well . I can agree w/ Jeff, the longer stone for longer blades . Yet, the longer stone has other advantages as well . Once you get the angle in hand set, you have a longer effective range to push the blade netting greater benefits and cutting down on time spent sharpening . Still, increasing the stones total sq. inches is of good benefit and increases efficient sharpening as well . It comes down to how much are you willing to give for your return . 4X10" wow ! Heck, all these are like driving a Cadillac . DM
