DMT "The Aligner"

Does anyone have one of these? If so, what do you think? Any tips?
I want something a little more versitile than the sharpmaker.

I have used one for over four years, and I still use it today, although my stones are a little worn from ALOT of use. I don't think that it is more versitile than the Sharpmaker because the clamp doesn't fit all blades. I like the clamp better than Lanskys or GATCOs. The diamond stones are aggressive at fist, but they smooth out over time. Tip: I hold the stone/holder in my left hand with the stone facing up, and I hold the handle of the knife in my right hand and sharpen like you would on a bench stone (instead of holding the clamp like they reccomend in the instructions). This system works very well, and it is very easy to use. It is really helpfull if you understand how to sharpen a knife and understand blade angles, but if you don't, keep working with the Alligner and you will learn. Summary: Very good kit for the money, gets knives razor sharp, easy to use, clamp doesn't fit all blades. If you have any questions you can e-mail me, I have been using this system for years, so I should be able to help.
