I was reading posts made by my dad on another forum, and I got a kick out of the following post he made:
You'll love the 17AH. I've got 2, a Varminter and a Classic. Make life simple, get both!:thumbup:
Heh. That sounds like something I would write. DNA?

My vote is Nurture. You must have been around such bulletproof logic growing up. "Dad, I really like Suzie, but Jennifer is so hot, what should I do?" "Go for both!" :D

I vote for DNA.

This past summer my father was up and we went camping. At the start of the trip, I loaned him my leprechaun warden so he would be able to have some fun with it. He really loved it. At the end of the trip, I gave it to him to keep.

A few weeks later, I was talking with my mother who told me how much he was still enjoying the knife. She ended up telling me that my father had loved knives & customs when they were younger, however he consciously turned away from the hobby before diving into it as I was due to show up & he wanted to focus on his family.

Not once growing up did he let on to this!

Well, I'd have to vote for the DNA, Lunde. You know the old saying about the acorn not falling far from the oak....:D

DNA,

In 2004 I visited my uncle in Tenn. I hadn't seen or spoken with him in 20+ years.

He said 'Hey, I'll bet you carry a pistol when you travel on that motorcycle'

I'll show you mine .....

He went in to the house to get his carry piece, me, out the saddle bag for mine, I'm polite when I visit.

Ready set go, he had a Walther's PPK, me a stainless PPK/s. Wow, are we related or something !

Hmm....that advice is vaguely familiar.

BrainOnSigs: "Ken...I can't decide if I want the GW fat satin with the G-10 or the GW fat satin with the tan micarta."

Ken: "You might as well get both." (I may be paraphrasing...but you get the jist)
