Got hungry at work so I decided to get some food. The lot behind our building is tall with grasses but they DO have something awesome this time of year. Blackberries.

Five minutes later I had a good snack.

I think I want to add a small mesh sack or something more compact than my cup. I don't always take my cup hiking. Any ideas?

Now back to the grind.

great stuff man... we have been picking a lot of blackberries lately.. we have them all over our neighborhood... we love em'..:)

Good stuff buddy, as I hiked today I snacked on Huckleberries, Salal Berries and Blackberries....good time of the year !

We're even foraging here in the City of London at this time of year. Apples, plums, pears, blackberries, and elderberries can all be found here at the moment, and the loganberries and elderflowers (for making sparkling wine) have just finished.

Do crayfish count as foraging? Me and my friends pull a lot of American Signal Crayfish out of the water channels in the City at this time of year. They're tasty, and clearing these invaders out is good for what's left of the ecosystem too.
