Do any Gurkhas know about this forum?

That there is a huge amount of interest on Khukris and Gurkhas is without a doubt.

So that brings us to the question: what do the Gurkhas themselves think of this kind of interest? For that matter, do they know at all that there are this bunch of fellows who are almost fanatical about their famous fighting knife?

Surely, it would be significant that the people who created one of the most famous fighting knives in the last century come forward with some valuable input on this interesting topic.

At this point, somebody may jump in and say, "yes, but where are the English-speaking ones?"

I am sure there are plenty, and they are stationed with the British army all over the world, or at least some parts of the world.

How about a concerted effort to get their views? There are Gurkhas in Brunei, Falklands, England, etc.
I am sure they are wired to the world at the army bases just like any other establishments.

Okay, shall we go out and get their views?

Now you've gone and gotten me wanting to know these answers too, Golok. I also wonder if there are Gurkha khukuri enthusiasts who can afford to collect them.
