Curious if I should bring a few of my busse to blade that weren't a good fit for me. I apologize if this is considered the wrong area for this, figured since I wasn't actually posting any for trade it would be ok. Just like the idea of face to face trading a bit more than mailing it off and not seeing what your getting in person.

Oh yes! Lots of trading going on at Blade! :D

is there a specific forum on the trading forums for those trading at blade in particular? Cant seem to find one. Have 3 busse that need a new home... But these ladies need to be replaced with other busse :)

Yes, trading and selling both take place. As a courtesy just don't do it while standing in front of the Busse (or other Dealers) booths.
They pay a lot of money to get those booths, bad form to sell or trade in front of them.

:D:D

I have wondered the same but don't know how one could not be standing in front of someone's booth when a transaction occurs. Excuse my ignorance, but how is that possible?

358 that would be better left outside or at kone og the events in the evenings bro....

There are plenty out of the way places to sell/trade there. The concession area and the lobby are a couple of places. Even during a short walk around the show should probably be okay. Eric's saying just don't do it on someone's table or standing right in front of it.

Gotcha. So the simple answer is, if you're not staying local or can convince someone to follow you outside, then no.

Would it be acceptable to discuss knives i will be bringing to trade in the for sale forum and knives I'm after? Sorry don't want to step on any toes haha so trying to be cautious. Or maybe even in my Sig.

Start a thread in the trade forum mentioning you'll have them at Blade and put a link in your sig. You never know you might find what you're looking for here.

alright thanks. Im just hoping enough buses owners look in the trade forum cause I'm mainly looking for them haha maybe some mid tech folders would be the only other thing

On my last trip to Blade, 2009, there was a lot of folder action, show and tell, going on in the Pit, the lobby area of the hotel, by the bar. As tacticool folders have blown up huge since then, it's probably even bigger now.

Doesn't have to be outside! Just outside the convention center main room there is a long hallway, downstairs is a mall with some tables & chairs & restaurants & such. There's also a concession area in the main room at the back, separated by curtains where you can get a snack...there are tables & chairs there too and behind this is the main loading dock, AKA the smoking deck. Lots of places to work a deal without being in front of someone's table or booth at the Show. :)
