Do any of the mods check the "contact us" emails?

A week or more ago, I was having a technical issue (that I'm still having), so I used the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page to reach out for help, but I never heard back. Does anyone read those emails?

It probably goes to Spark (site owner/admin) rather than the mods.

Post up your issue in Tech Support and the mods or members will help if they can.

You may want to scroll through the first few pages or search that forum first as your issue may already have been asked and answered.

I don't have access to the "contact us" emails. I think they only go to Spark. I agree with Benchwarmer380. Post the issue in the Tech Support forum. I have moved this thread there.

General Forum is for general threads about knives.

I was having a conversation with someone who ultimately purchased a knife from me. The transaction went well, and we were done, so I deleted the conversation but accidentally changed the option to "don't receive future emails from this person." Immediately after the deletion I tried to fix this, but I couldn't figure out a way how to do this using the functionality that is provided to end users of the forum. Never heard back from Spark or whoever checks the "contact us" email (assuming someone actually does check that email). Anyone have any ideas?

Are you trying to get information from the conversation or just to contact them again?

I believe when you select the option you did it is specific to that conversation and not the user. So you should be able to message them and vice versa via a new conversation.

If you want specific info from that convo, I would reach out to the other party and see if they can copy and paste it in a new convo or email.

It may be possible, but I dont see how you can reallow messages from that conversation. Spark may be able to. I dont know if the mods can as I am pretty sure they do not have access to user's private messaging. They'll stop to help if they can.

I just want up to be able to do business again in the future, if we choose, so if he and I are still able to write one another via a new message, that'll work. The option I accidentally clicked right before deleting the message implied to me that no more communication whatsoever would be possible. Guess I have to send him a message to test if your interpretation is correct. Thanks for the tip.

"conversations" are not "emails".

When you "leave" a conversation, you are presented with this popup.

Notice that it says, "THIS conversation" and "future responses" ?
That means "future responses to the conversation you are leaving".
It does not mean, "all future conversations".

Bottom line: You can converse with the member in another conversation, but not in the one you just closed.

Yup, I see that now; read it too quickly. Thanks for the clarification; that settles it!
