the last Boker knife that caused as much of a fuss within the knife community as the SUBCOM Folders have?

I recall the Applegate FB, the Nealy MCS, the Stellar line, and the Brend...but this was back in the day...:o

Anyone?

God bless and be safe all.

you provide something new and interesting, the subcom folder is a very sheeple friendly knife I showed one to my mom and she wont carry anything bigger than a sak classic and thinks all my bigger blades are "wicked" her remark on the subcom was awwww how cute. it's perfect for the office or in public when something bigger would have people fainting left and right and it's still a very deadly little knife in trained hands. hey enjoy it cause you have definitely deserved the accolades.

Precisely, it's very different, and designed to be used in an age where NKPs are everywhere. Not to mention, we've got a very good subcom molester on hand for any customisations:D

Now... where's that Hawkcom you were talking about?;)

The Böker Grabendolch (trench dagger)... but the design is from the first world war. :)
It's not an international star, but in Germany it found many buyers. It's a real reissue, comparable to the Colt 1911 Reissue.

But this doesn't compare to the huge international success of the subcom.

Böker has some nice exclusive designs, but none of them reached so many different knife fans. It's because the subcom is a 100% practical, 100% reliable yet affordable knife for everyone, even for people who normally don't care about knives. I think every person on the planet should have one, or two! :D

Nope, I can't recall any that have caused such a stir.
The last I remember causing close to as much were the
Applegate knives when we started those.
Good job, DW!
Thanks, TJT

Mahalo much Cyblade!

Thanks for your kind words. True fact on being "perfect for office or in public"...I am not even going to tell the story of how I used a Spyderco SpyderHawk in public once to open a toy for my daughter...:o

God bless and take care:thumbup:

Mahalo much for your comments...and a great point you made about "people who normally don't care about knives" liking the SF! This has been repeated in some form or another on forums everywhere...;)

Nice seeing you and mahalo!
God bless and regards to those on Messer:thumbup:
