i am left handed, and cant imagine using a true left hand liner lock. i am so quick and comfortable with a right handed liner lock, i dont want a left handed one even if i could. i just wish all right handed liner locks had a left handed clip option. then id be happy...very happy:D

Southpaw here as well, and "right" handed liner locks only cause me problems, when the particular knife has a liner and/or handle scale that are not relieved on the side where a southpaws thumb needs to get to the blade to open it.

try a left handed liner lock. then, if you're like me, you won't want to settle for the compromise that we lefties will put up w/ just because we have no other choice.

i don't hear of too may right-handers saying they'd be happier w/ a left-handed lock ;)

I can use one easily but it's doubtful that I'll ever buy another. Too many manufacturers and custom makers are offering left-hand models for me to give money to someone that has decided lefties aren't worth the effort.

I'm a righty and I prefer using a right handed liner or frame lock with my left hand. My thumb only passes under the blade once not twice.

That actually bugs me too. I tend to avoid one handed knives that are not ambidextrous.

I've moved more than one Spyderco clip to ride like a lefty knife. Sometimes the clips just get in the way of smooth opening. Thanks to Spyderco for the extra spots to move the clip.

I'm not a lefty, but I have no issue actuating a SnG or Leafstorm (or most frame/liner locks) with my left hand. I'm not surprised you'd prefer a right handed liner lock. I think it's actually easier to PULL the lock towards the palm than push away.

Maybe I should get a lefty knife since I'm a righty? :p

I'm a lefty and will never EDC a righty liner lock. I'v almost had a few bad experiences with tightly gripping the handle and disengaging the lock. In fact I can almost do it at will with a number of knives. It's Axis or Lockback for me.

I'm a lefty and yes I can use right handed frame and liner locks but I had 2 left hand framelocks custom made... It feels a whole lot better.
