I have find on famous French selling website a buck 110 limited edition
It is for celebrating the bicentennial of the French Revolution (1789/1989 and a castle engraved on the blade) , the knife look like a 25th anniversary 110 ( nickel silver bolsters/ ebony wood scales ) it was made in 1988 and it is the number 151 of 200 engraved on the back of the blade . The knife is in a little hinge box like the Harley Davidson edition 110's. if anyone have anymore infos for it , I maybe will buy it

Here a link for the announce with three pics of it :

George God bless

Well, Buckfan, I had a look at the special edition list and found a french revolution knife, made in 1989, sold in a jewel case. 250 have been made. But it has a Gold etch and a brass frame with ebony scales. I couldn't find a limited edition with 200 knives with a nickel silver frame, made in 1988.

It is really hard to tell, but on my computer that knife looks like it has polished brass bolsters. They are sort of yellow in color.

Yes it is because they are a little tarnished , I have asked the seller about the bolsters and he said it is nickel .

The one you show is different than this one. The banner is on the left side of the Bastille on mine. Gold etching, brass bolsters and serialized xxx/250. The special projects listings are not always complete. The one you found is clearly of the same vintage. Does not look to be in very good condition in the pictures but the photograph is pretty bad.
