Do Blur parts interchange easily?

I ask because I've pretty much found my perfect knife, the CF154 Blur. It's all I want in a user, and I've since put away all but 2 knives from my drawer (My 0550 and a Para2...because they're fun toys when at home). Since I've gotten it, it feels like my search is over, and I wouldn't improve anything at all on this blade.

So, I got one of the CF154 Blurs from Dave since it seemed that with a small modification it would be right up my alley. I drilled and tapped it for the deep-carry clip on the left-hand, tip-down side, and that worked out perfectly. I took the assist out, it works as a manual very well. I put a nice 34 degree inclusive edge on it, it cuts very very well. I know that it's durable, and likely to last a long long time, but I've done some pretty wicked things to a blade before, so I guess I'm just asking if you Blur experts find that parts like the blade and lock bar insert in particular would swap into my tapped carbon fiber handles. I had some odd fits when swapping Skyline parts, and I'm curious if I'd have odd fit or lock up issues in swapping say, the S30V blade into the CF handle.

Thanks guys, cheers. I'll be doing a video review soon raving about how much I love this Blur.

Yes they Do! All my FrankenBlurs have worked awesome...I'm only had problems making Frankenleeks ..had blade play and side to side

Don't you like CPM154?

I prefer it to S30V.

I love CPM 154, very much so. With my average use, which involved moderate carton cutting, light wire stripping and sandwich slicing, I think this blade alone will last a very long time, especially since I strop it often enough. However, in the event that I destroy this blade, I'd rather swap out the blade and save the handles I've already tapped for the lefty clip while I go about getting another CPM154 version. I'm about to get another CF154 from Dave, but that puppy is going in the closet to sleep. She's for emergencies only. :D

I think I might also, in theory at the moment. From what Ive read, and I wasnt terribly impressed with S30V. Ive been trying to find a edc in CPM-154 and now I gots me one! A blur of course.

Well naturally

I specifically got a purple blur just to have the cpm154 in a trade, so I could test out both steels. I carry the S30v everyday for the last month and am going to switch to the cpm for a month. So far the s30v is great and I haven't sharpened it since I got it, using it on any knife related chore, nothing hard core just average.
