Do fake diamond rods for the sharpmaker exist?

Does anyone know if there are any fakes out there of the diamond rods for the sharpmaker?

I could use some diamond rods, and unfortunately ebay is the easiest way I know when using paypal and living in Europe.

You can improvise with dmt folding hones and good rubber bands

I haven't heard of any. As long as the price isn't outrageously low, and the seller is reputable, I always feel safe making purchases on eBay, regardless of the flak of which they are often recipient.
