Do I Have A Bingo? ... (B-20 stamp inside handle, SM 31)

I know this has no meaning to the end user/consumer and just curious about the stamp inside both handle slabs.
Perhaps the significance to the mfg process and/or something else?

Should I write this number down and keep it in a safe place in case of need for future reference?

As stated above-the scales were made the 2nd quarter(A,B, C,D) of 2020. They make the scales in batches and use as needed, so the 2 scales can have 2 different make dates, as well as vary significantly from the birth date(which is the date the completed knife was assembled).
