Why do I have 3 of the standard 2011 models? Because one of the local big box stores is closing, and they had 3 left for 50% off, just could not pass them up. Might do some rehandling on 2 of them. I`ve even gone so far as to carry a list of the date codes in my wallet in case I run across more.

Sixteen?? Ha!! Having only sixteen 110's is like Imelda Marcos happy with sixteen pairs of shoes. You may have a problem when you have more 110's than she had shoes. :p

No apologies needed - that's a nice collection!

And... collecting the 110 makes plenty of sense. I remember the fun after-Christmas sale days of years ago at WallyWorld - and those Buck 110's in 'Collector's Tins'. I have seen them as low as $8! I was naive - and only bought a couple - which I gave/traded away. I left most of them so 'others' could share in my find. The sporting goods counter clerk told me when I returned the next day that one fellow bought every one - even the display - $200 worth. Lesson learned.

In a recent post on monumental knife purchases, I recalled my first 110 - and my favorite 'looker' - my teardrop Damascus/flaming Koa wood/NS bolster Buck Custom Shop - not my CRKs or my recent big dollar custom knife! No apologies needed - and, no, you don't have a problem!

Merry Christmas, all!

John

Put them all in one drawer or one box. Then you just have one drawer full or one box full.......

Just use really big drawers and boxes (plan for the future).......300

Your "problem" sounds pretty familiar!, I started out collecting 112's, and then those Big 'ole 110's just started sneaking their way into my house ;) had to start sewing up knife rolls to keep 'em in line:D
Thanks for being part of the club JK

Next one who is infected with the uncurable Buck fever.
No chance to do anything against it. No antibiotica, no
sufonamide, no pills, infusions, liquids. It is as it is.
See you at the colectors club anniverary meetin' in Idaho
next summer.
Best,
Haebbie
