Do I have a rare unstamped 505 Buck Knight?

My dad just bought me a Buck Knight 505 at a Ace hardware.

The first thing I noticed is that no where on the knife does it say "Buck" nor does it have any identifying marks on it.

I called Buck this morning and he said that it sounds genuine, there are no known reports of a counterfeit or fake 505, and that he thinks it some how missed the stamping process. He suggested that it may be worth a lot of money.

Being that this is rare or possibly the only one in existence, does it have any additional value?

Worth allot of money, doubtful. Seeing it is that you have a no name knife, its probably worth what you paid for it, maybe less... Odd balls happen and with a Co. the size of Buck Knives it happens more than you would think. Its a nice knife, but don't retire just yet...

Pretty much what mbjannusch said but we'd still like to see the pictures. I like the little ones.....

The picture is showing now, thank you. Neat. Makes me want to stop by the local ACE hardware and check out the knife display  Someone must have "sneezed" at the factory as that one went by.

Funny, your pictures were showing about half an hour ago and now they aren't. Make sure your pictures are less than 800 pixels wide and paste the "IMG code" link into your post.

I found also that if you move your pictures to a new album in the same Photobucket account that the pictures will disappear here on Blade Forums. I had to stop moving my pictures from one album to another to solve that problem.
