Do I have a real ATC product?

Hi all, I have 2 Vietnam Tactical hawks, or at least I think I do. Subtle differences in the shape of the head, nothing too drastic, but obvious enough to point out some differences. Now I'm confused, have I gotten one passed off to me as a "real" ATC product or are there just differences in the head shape? Help me out, I'm very confused and if I really have been had, I will not be a happy man.
 
Could be a coldsteel they also make them it would have tiwan stamped
on the head the price is the big diffrence. they cost around 29.00
they are not hand forged but drop forged.no were near the quality
of ATC. Not a bad hawk just not high quality.
 
Don, FWIW, I had two of the field grade ATC Vietnam hawks & there were differences in some of the secondary edge grinds.
 
If they both have the acetal handle then you should have the ATC VT Tactical. I have not seen or heard of anyone else that has put the acetal handle into the Vietnam head except us. If you are that concerned about it send me a picture of the 2 and I will be able to tell you if you have our product or is someone has managed to copy it.
 
Ok cool! They probably are just minor differences, because they both have the new hex bolt thing holding the the handles onto the head.
 
If they both have the hex bolt as the wedge then I can pretty much assure you that they are indeed made by ATC.

I too am in San Diego, and I have an idea...

The idea being that you should sell me, or trade with me, for whichever ATC 'Hawk you have that you can do without...that is, should you find yourself looking for a trade.

Of course, I'll want you to ship said 'Hawk to ATC for authenticity verification, and should it prove to be legit, I'll pay all shipping costs, all ways.
